The increase in gas is beginning to become a problem for many of us who were not able to get rid of our larger gas guzzlers. Now it is too late and we are desperate to find a way to save on gas.
- The most obvious solution to saving gas is to drive less and only when it is necessary. I know that this will put a damper on things – but in the end you might be able to save yourself bundles of money.
- Don’t push your car and drive at normal speeds. If you try to accelerate fast and are always going super fast down the road then you will end up by burning more gas. No one like to drive slow – but we will do anything to save money.
- If you have a GPS system in your car then take advantage of it. Have it tell you the best and shortest route to take. This is especially great for those who live in the larger cities.
- Carpooling is not a thing of the past and you would be surprised at how many people want to do it. You aren’t the only one suffering and to be able to carpool means that you will only have to put a certain amount of money into the pot to contribute.
